Temperature controlled horizontal honing bay with the following machines:
• 3 x Powerstroker EC 3500’s with autosizing control: I/D range 1.5mm – 165mm; 300mm stroke length
• 3 x hand lapping honing machines: I/D range 1.5mm – 165mm; 300mm stroke length
• 4 x horizontal honing machines: I/D range 1.5mm – 165mm; 300mm stroke length
Tube Honing
• Tube honing 25mm – 1300mm twin spindle
• Tube honing 30mm – 340mm: I/D x 1500mm O/L
(1 tonne maximum weight )
• Tube honing 30mm – 340mm: I/D x 3000mm O/L
(3 tonne maximum weight)
Superfinishing (Cylindrical)
• Sub 1 micron roundness
• Sub 2CLA achievable

Within a fully temperature controlled facility,
Perfect Bore has:
• Bore Sizing & Geometry Measurement: Mechanical,
air & electronic gauging to measure accuracy within 0.001mm
• Roundness Measurement: Talyrond TR 252 to measure accuracy within 0.0002mm
• Surface Finish Measurement: Surtronic 3+ (20,000 x magnification surface finish analysis software) to measure accuracy 0.01 Ra (0.4 CLA).
• Concentricity & Wall Thickness Measurement: Ultrasonic wall thickness to measure accuracy within 0.050mm |
